Braden Peters faces criminal charges as accuser refiles civil suit
Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza has refiled her civil lawsuit against influencer Braden Eric Peters, known online as ‘Clavicular’, omitting previous sexual assault allegations. According to legal filings, the decision to drop the sexual assault claims in the Miami-Dade County civil suit was intended to avoid interfering with a pending criminal case in Massachusetts.
Peters, 20, faces criminal charges in Massachusetts including rape, drugging someone for sexual intercourse, and procuring liquor for someone under 21. He has denied the allegations. The criminal case stems from an incident in May 2025 at his family’s Cape Cod home, where Mendoza alleged she was intoxicated and assaulted.
The amended civil complaint focuses on other allegations, including battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraudulent misrepresentation, and the unauthorized publication of her name and likeness. Additionally, the suit claims Peters falsely represented himself as qualified to perform cosmetic injections during a November 2025 encounter in Florida, where he allegedly injected Mendoza with a non-FDA-approved substance.
