Braden Peters pleads not guilty to rape and drugging charges

Braden Peters, a 20-year-old social media influencer known as ‘Clavicular,’ pleaded not guilty on Thursday to charges of rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse, and providing alcohol to a minor. The charges stem from an alleged incident in May 2025 at his family’s home in Chatham, Massachusetts.

Prosecutors allege that Peters provided vodka to a 17-year-old girl until she was intoxicated and subsequently sexually assaulted her. The victim, who reportedly received payments to appear in Peters’ ‘looksmaxxing’ videos, also filed a civil lawsuit in Florida alleging he injected her with a fat-dissolving substance without her consent during a livestream.

Peters, who has over one million followers on Instagram, maintains through his legal team that the sexual encounter was consensual. His attorneys have characterized the allegations and related civil litigation as a ‘publicity grab.’

During his arraignment in Orleans District Court, Judge John Julian set bail at $10,000. Peters was ordered to surrender his passport and is prohibited from contacting the accuser or posting about her on social media. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for November 24.
