Bradesco Seguros Longevidade Circuit draws 4,000 runners in Salvador

On Sunday 26 July, the Bradesco Seguros Longevidade Circuit took place at Jardim de Alah in Salvador, Brazil, attracting about four thousand participants of all ages. Runners competed in 5 km and 10 km courses. Deilton Silva and Isabela Oliveira were the 10 km winners with times of 36′58″ and 45′28″ respectively, while Filipe Souza and Cristiane Silva won the 5 km races in 17′59″ and 22′20″. Senior athletes also featured, including Vicente de Souza (74) and Augustina dos Santos (67) who placed on the 10 km podium, and Dirvan Silveira (92) and Dinalva Vieira (81) who placed on the 5 km podium.

Ana Claudia Frighetto Gonzalez, senior marketing superintendent of Grupo Bradesco Seguros, highlighted the event’s role in promoting health and well‑being. The race was organised in partnership with the Federal Government through the Ministry of Sport under the Sports Incentive Law. Following the Salvador stage, the circuit will move to Recife in August and Porto Alegre in September, with registrations already open on the runningland.com.br website.
