French winger Bradley Barcola, 23, has told Paris Saint‑Germain he will not sign a new contract, leaving his existing deal – which runs until the summer of 2028 – in place. PSG have set a record asking price of around €170 million for the player, a figure reported by several outlets.

Liverpool FC are reported to be the club most actively pursuing Barcola. Fabrizio Romano and other sources say Liverpool have made the first approach and are prepared to meet PSG’s demands, viewing the winger as a priority replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Merseyside side have already bolstered their squad with a £34 million signing of Victor Muñoz and are willing to consider a deal that could become a club‑record transfer.

Other European clubs – including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid – have also expressed interest, but Liverpool appear to be ahead in the negotiations. The situation has dominated transfer‑window coverage as clubs weigh the financial and sporting implications of a potential €170 million move for the French international.
