Bradley Beal re-signs with Los Angeles Clippers on two-year deal

Bradley Beal has agreed to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year contract worth $13.2 million. The deal, confirmed by agent Mark Bartelstein, includes a player option for the second season.

Beal, a 33-year-old three-time All-Star, chose to return to Los Angeles after previously declining a $5.6 million player option to explore the free agent market. While several teams, including the Miami Heat, were linked to him, Beal ultimately opted for a reunion with the Clippers.

His previous season was significantly impacted by health issues, specifically a left hip fracture that required surgery and limited him to just six games. Despite concerns regarding his long-term durability—having not played more than 60 games in a single season since 2018-19—the Clippers intend to utilize his veteran scoring and leadership to bolster their backcourt rotation.
