Brady Booker injured by machete on Survivor 51

During an episode of Survivor 51, former WWE wrestler Brady Booker sustained a significant injury when he accidentally sliced off a portion of his thumb with a machete while chopping wood. Booker, who previously competed in NXT as Bodhi Hayward, expressed immediate concern that the accident would result in his medical removal from the competition.

After being examined by the show’s medical team, Booker was cleared to continue participating. The doctor wrapped the injury and administered antibiotics to prevent infection. Booker noted that while he is experiencing pain, he preferred to remain in the game rather than be disqualified.

Host Jeff Probst confirmed the incident as a first for the long-running reality series. Booker reportedly requested that the severed portion of his thumb be preserved in a cooler so he could take it home after the show, a request the medical team granted. Despite the injury, Booker’s tribe, the Toka tribe, went on to win both the reward and immunity challenges.
