Braelon Allen scores 31-yard touchdown in Jets preseason return

New York Jets running back Braelon Allen made an impactful return during the team’s preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, scoring on a 31-yard touchdown run. The play marked Allen’s first game in nearly 11 months following a season-ending knee injury that occurred in Week 4 of last season.

Jets coach Aaron Glenn praised Allen’s performance, noting his ability to “press the hole” and utilize his signature speed. Teammates, including center Josh Myers and tight end Jeremy Ruckert, expressed excitement regarding Allen’s recovery and work ethic. The team looks to utilize Allen alongside Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis to create a productive running back rotation for the upcoming season.
