Argentina implements regional health and education support programs

Various social and health initiatives are being implemented across Argentina to support students and vulnerable communities.

In Chaco, the national program ‘Ver para Ser Libres’ is conducting visual health operations, delivering hundreds of eyeglasses to children and adolescents to support their education. The program aims to reach 13,000 eyeglasses and includes ophthalmological controls and diagnostic services.

In San Juan, Governor Marcelo Orrego led the ‘Maestro de América, Cultivando el Futuro’ program, which has distributed 12,914 computers to primary and secondary students to promote digital literacy.

Additionally, health teams from the Subteniente Perín Hospital provided comprehensive medical, dental, and reproductive health services to the Qom San Carlos community, including the free distribution of prescribed medications and contraceptive methods.
