Bragança Paulista advances local cultural initiatives and music traditions

The municipality of Bragança Paulista is advancing several cultural initiatives. The Orquestra Violeiros do Rio Jaguari recently represented the city at the inaugural Caipiraporã – 1º Festival de Cultura Caipira in Echaporã. The orchestra, which is part of the city's official roster of artists, performed a repertoire focused on 'música de raiz' and the preservation of traditional 'viola caipira' music.

Additionally, the Bragança Paulista Municipal Secretariat of Culture and Tourism has released the final results for the Municipal Cultural Promotion Notice (Edital de Fomento Cultural Municipal nº 01/2025). Approved proponents are being called to sign Cultural Execution Terms between September 14 and 23, 2026. The administration has also summoned substitute candidates, who must submit required documentation between September 8 and 14, 2026.
