Brahima Konaté leads digital transformation in Burkina Faso's education sector

Brahima Konaté, a software engineer, is playing a key role in the digitalization of the higher education system in Burkina Faso. Since joining the Université Thomas Sankara in 2015 as Director of IT Services, he has worked to implement digital applications for managing finances, human resources, and student records, as well as deploying e-learning tools.

Beyond the university setting, Konaté has contributed to the digitalization of public administration. Between 2018 and 2020, he led a technical team at the Ministry of Civil Service to implement an electronic platform for the grading of competitive examinations.
