BRAHMA AI wins 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy

BRAHMA AI has been awarded a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy® for its Neural Performance technology. The award recognizes advancements in AI-based face replacement and performance-preserving post-production transformation.

The technology is designed to alter a performer’s appearance—such as age, likeness, or identity—while maintaining natural expressions, movement, lighting, and scene realism. This ensures continuity across sequences and adapts to changes in pose or occlusion. BRAHMA AI is the only AI-native company among the recipients, which also includes Disney Research, Rising Sun Pictures, and Digital Domain.

The technology was utilized in Robert Zemeckis’s film ‘Here’, where it provided near real-time visualization of younger versions of Tom Hanks and Robin Wright. It has also been applied to the film ‘Ramayana’ for performance-preserving English lip-syncing for international release. The core method is protected under U.S. Patent No. 12,322,018.
