Brain-Media.de launches compliance subscription amid NIS2 regulatory focus

The publisher Brain-Media.de has launched ‘Compliance Complete’, an annual subscription service priced at 149 euros. The package provides access to over 30 technical titles covering EU regulations, information security, and AI governance, including NIS-2, DORA, the Cyber Resilience Act, and the EU AI Act, as well as ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 standards.

In addition to books, the subscription includes three market studies focused on the German-speaking region and preparation materials for ISACA certifications such as CISM, CISA, AAIA, and CRISC, complete with online question pools. The content is delivered as PDFs without copy protection, allowing users to use the files on multiple devices.

Separately, an analysis of a contract under the NIS2 framework highlights that high compliance does not necessarily equate to low risk. Despite achieving a 96% compliance score and a 93% NIS2 readiness index, a specific contract was found to carry risk costs of 3.21 million euros. This discrepancy is attributed to the high economic importance and strategic value of the business processes being protected, rather than regulatory deficiencies.
