Brain tumor treatment focuses on early detection and quality of life

Neurosurgeon Dr. Made Agus Mahendra Inggas from MRCCC Siloam Semanggi emphasized that a brain tumor diagnosis does not inevitably lead to poor medical outcomes. While total recovery remains a primary goal, medical teams also prioritize improving the patient's quality of life when a complete cure is not possible.

Dr. Inggas noted that the presence of a tumor or the spread of cancer to the brain does not automatically guarantee a negative prognosis, as every case is unique. He highlighted that early detection is a critical factor in treatment success, stating that the smaller the tumor is when discovered, the better the expected medical outcome.
