Brajesh Pathak criticizes Congress survival and political standing

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has launched a sharp critique of the Congress party, alleging that the organization has lost its political footing in Uttar Pradesh and is struggling for survival across much of India. Pathak accused the party of engaging in protests alongside ‘anti-national elements’ and suggested their actions are driven by a hunger for power.

Pathak expressed support for recent remarks by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh regarding the political viability of Congress in the Rae Bareli constituency. He further criticized the Samajwadi Party, specifically targeting leader Akhilesh Yadav, describing his leadership as running a ‘family company.’

In his remarks, Pathak praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and economic policies, contrasting them with the historical economic impact of Congress policies. He also cited the 1975 Emergency as an example of the party’s past anti-constitutional actions.
