Brambles reports progress in 2030 sustainability program

Brambles, the global logistics group and operator of CHEP, has released its 2026 sustainability report, detailing progress in the first year of its 2030 sustainability program. The report covers the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, focusing on the company's vision for building regenerative supply chains.

Key achievements highlighted include a 36% reduction in absolute Scope-1 and Scope-2 emissions and a 16% reduction in absolute Scope-3 emissions compared to the 2020 baseline. Additionally, the company has replaced 50% of virgin plastic with circular materials or solutions, moving toward a long-term goal of 80%.

In terms of environmental restoration, Brambles has partnered with WildTrust to enable the regeneration of 10,000 hectares of land in South Africa's UpperuThukela catchment. This partnership aims to protect and restore approximately 75,000 hectares over a five-year period, supporting the company's objective to regenerate two hectares of land for every one hectare used for its timber requirements.
