Brampton partners with Nav Bhatia Foundation for free youth basketball camp

The City of Brampton has announced a partnership with The Superfan Nav Bhatia Foundation and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to launch the Nav Bhatia Fantasy Basketball Camp. Scheduled for March Break 2027 at the Brampton Soccer Centre, the program, titled ‘THE BIG BREAK’, will provide a free immersive basketball experience for 100 youth from families facing financial barriers to sports programming.

Participants will receive skills training, mentorship, and an NBA-style experience including custom uniforms, player introductions, and daily giveaways. The initiative aims to foster teamwork, confidence, and healthy habits while reducing barriers to high-quality recreation. Registration details are expected to be released later this fall.
