Brand Collective acquires Glue Store, The DOM, and Running Bare
Brand Collective has acquired three Australian retail brands: youth fashion retailer Glue Store, online marketplace The DOM, and activewear label Running Bare. The move is part of the Larry Kestelman-owned group’s strategy to expand its portfolio of over 30 brands and establish a new multibrand marketplace division.
Glue Store is set for a relaunch following its closure in June by the Accent Group, which cited an $8.4 million loss. Brand Collective plans to revitalize the retailer with an updated brand range, an improved digital experience, and new physical stores.
The group also intends to transform The DOM into a broader online destination for fashion, footwear, and lifestyle products. Additionally, Running Bare will undergo a digital transformation while maintaining its original identity, leveraging Brand Collective’s e-commerce and operational capabilities. CEO David Thomas stated that the company sees “enormous potential” across all three businesses.
