Brandenburg cycling tours focus on nature and local history

Various regional cycling excursions are being organized in the Brandenburg area, focusing on nature observation and local history.

A birdwatching tour in Havelland is scheduled for October 11. Led by expert Bodo Rudolph, the 35-kilometer route follows the Havel cycle path through wetlands and observation towers at Rietzer See and Strengsee. The tour aims to highlight the ecological importance of habitats for species such as herons, ducks, and waders.

In Falkensee and surrounding areas, a historical cycling tour took place on June 28, 2025. Approximately 30 participants explored the history of education in Falkenhagen and Seegefeld, visiting sites such as the Diesterweg-Grundschule and observing Stolpersteine (memorial stones) along the route.
