Brandi Carlile releases deluxe reimagining of ‘Returning To Myself’

Singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile has released a deluxe reimagining of her album, titled ‘Returning To Myself (Sad Gay Version)’. Released through Interscope Records and Lost Highway, the project features intimate, rebuilt versions of the songs from her original 10-track album.

The digital edition includes 21 tracks, beginning with the original album followed by the new material. Notable highlights include a collaboration with Grammy-nominated electronic musician Jon Hopkins on the track ‘Human’, and a new recording of Billy Joel’s ‘And So It Goes’, which is exclusive to the digital edition. Carlile co-produced four of the new recordings with Aaron Dessner at Long Pond Studio.

Physical options include a vinyl configuration featuring 10 reimagined tracks, with a limited-edition signed rainbow vinyl available for orders placed by October 1.
