Brandi Carlile to perform at Frost Amphitheater

Singer-songwriter and 11-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile is scheduled to perform at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater on September 19 at 6 p.m. She will be joined by Irish musician CMAT. Carlile, known for her work across country, folk, and rock genres, recently released her eighth studio album, ‘Returning to Myself,’ in 2025.

Additionally, the Myra Melford Splash Trio, featuring Michael Formanek and Ches Smith, will perform a concert hosted by Earthwise Productions on September 18 at 8 p.m. The jazz ensemble’s performance draws inspiration from the techniques and processes of American abstract expressionist painter Cy Twombly, emphasizing spontaneity through composition and improvisation.
