Brandi Rhodes explains decision to forgo wrestling return

Brandi Rhodes has shared the reasons behind her decision not to pursue a full-time return to professional wrestling. While training at the WWE Performance Center in 2022, Rhodes participated in in-house matches and worked with various staff members, including Fit Finlay and Norman Smiley.

Despite enjoying the training process, Rhodes decided against continuing her wrestling career due to the demands of motherhood. She noted that her young daughter, Liberty, required constant attention, making the lifestyle of a traveling professional wrestler unfeasible. Rhodes stated that she did not feel she could manage the rigors of life on the road and the potential for injury while meeting her daughter’s needs, noting, “I don’t think I can live on a bus with this kid needing me 24/7 when I’m hurt.”

Rhodes, formerly known as Eden Stiles, has had stints in WWE, TNA/Impact Wrestling, ROH, Stardom, and AEW. Most recently, she appeared alongside her husband, Cody Rhodes, during his entrance at WrestleMania 40.
