Brandon Barker wins Oxford 250 after rain delay

Brandon Barker of Windham secured his first Oxford 250 victory at the Oxford Plains Speedway despite significant weather disruptions. The event, considered Maine’s largest auto race, faced a major rain delay on Sunday night.

Racing was halted at 8:50 p.m. after 126 laps were completed. Following a three-hour delay, the race resumed at 11:43 p.m. and concluded at 12:49 a.m., resulting in a total runtime of four hours and 49 minutes. This marks the third time in four years that rain has delayed the Oxford 250.
