Brandon Flowers Considers Leaving Music Amid Personal Reflections

Brandon Flowers, the 45‑year‑old frontman of The Killers, told The Times that he is "really going through it" and is uncertain how much longer he can continue his music career. He compared his own life to that of his father, who lives modestly but appears happier, and said he is questioning the purpose of his work.

Flowers said he draws inspiration from Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, recalling his own upbringing in Las Vegas where he worked in the service industry before achieving fame. He also discussed his $53 million, 7,600‑sq‑ft Park City, Utah retreat, which features five bedrooms, a fire pit, a hot tub and other luxury amenities. The singer expressed frustration with fame and aggressive fan behavior, adding that these pressures contribute to his contemplation of quitting music.
