Brandon Williams signs one-year deal with Golden State Warriors

Free agent guard Brandon Williams has signed a one-year, $2.6 million contract with the Golden State Warriors. The 26-year-old joins the Warriors following a career year with the Dallas Mavericks, where he averaged 13.0 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.9 rebounds over 66 games.

Williams previously spent the 2021-22 season with the Portland Trail Blazers before being waived in October 2022. After a stint in the G League, he joined Dallas in December 2023 and established himself as a reliable rotation player, notably performing well during the 2025 Play-In Tournament.

The Warriors' signing of Williams follows other recent roster additions, including forward Georges Niang, center Al Horford, and center Kristaps Porzingis.
