Brandtoren on Rozendaalse Veld receives national monument status

The Brandtoren on the Rozendaalse Veld has been granted national monument status. To celebrate this recognition, the Stichting Behoud Brandtoren Rozendaalse Veld is organizing a photography competition.

Participants are invited to submit photos of the tower, ranging from wide shots to specific details, regardless of weather or season. Entries must be submitted by August 15. A jury will select ten winning photographs to be exhibited in Velp starting in early September.

The winner will receive an arrangement from Veluwe Actief, such as a guided walk or a VeluweScooter excursion. The ten selected photographers will also receive a 20 by 30 centimeter print of their work and an invitation to climb to the top of the Brandtoren on September 12, 2026, coinciding with the start of the national Open Monumentendag.
