Brandy performs surprise set with Usher and releases new Netflix theme song

R&B singer Brandy has made several high-profile appearances recently, including a surprise performance at SoFi Stadium alongside Usher during ‘The R&B Tour’. During the appearance, she performed ‘I Wanna Be Down’ and ‘Top of the World’. This follows a recent appearance at a Kehlani concert in Los Angeles.

Additionally, Brandy has released a modernized rendition of the ‘A Different World’ theme song. The track serves as the opening theme for a new 10-episode Netflix sequel series to the classic sitcom. The series follows the daughter of original characters Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert as she begins her freshman year at Hillman College. The sequel features returning original cast members Kadeem Hardison and Jasmine Guy.
