Branko Cvejić: Legacy of a celebrated Serbian actor remembered

Three years after his passing, Vesna Cvejić has shared reflections on the life and legacy of her late husband, the renowned Serbian and Yugoslav actor Branko Cvejić. Cvejić, celebrated for his iconic role as Banet Bumbara in ‘Grlom u jagode’, passed away in July 2022 following a serious illness.

Vesna described her husband as a dedicated cultural worker whose commitment to the theater often took precedence over family life. She noted that while their life was not defined by wealth, it was filled with satisfaction. She also touched upon the challenges of being a spouse to a dedicated artist and the current difficulty of navigating life without him.
