Brașov Airport to sue navigation provider ROMATSA over disputed invoices

The Autonomous Administration of Brașov‑Ghimbav International Airport plans legal action against ROMATSA, the provider of air‑navigation services. After a Court of Auditors review, the airport must recalculate several invoices issued to ROMATSA and is seeking approval from the Brașov County Council to purchase specialised legal services for the case.

The disputed amounts stem from the contract governing the virtual navigation tower operated from Arad. While the exact sum is not disclosed, the airport aims to recover the overpaid funds and represent its interests in any ensuing litigation, with costs to be covered from its own revenues.
