Regional infrastructure and traffic updates in Romania and Moldova

Various regional authorities in Romania and Moldova are managing significant infrastructure and public service updates.

In Romania, the Vaslui County Council is initiating plans to develop a large recreational area near the Stefan cel Mare Monument in Bacaoani, featuring landscaping, an aquarium, and a multimedia center. In Brașov, maintenance crews are repairing multiple road segments, including asphalt resurfacing and vegetation removal. Additionally, the Cluj County Council is conducting maintenance on the 22-kilometer road leading to the Buscat ski slope to ensure safe winter travel. In Timișoara, scheduled works include sidewalk and road repairs across several city sectors.

In Moldova, the Ministry of Defense has requested temporary traffic restrictions in Chișinău for military training exercises on August 20, 21, and 25. These exercises will necessitate changes to numerous trolleybus and bus routes. Furthermore, the water utility company Apă-Canal Chișinău has announced scheduled water supply interruptions in certain sectors of the capital on August 21 due to planned maintenance works.
