Brașov implements smart illuminated pedestrian crossings

Brașov is testing a new smart pedestrian crossing system designed to increase safety for distracted walkers. Unlike traditional traffic lights, this system uses sensors embedded in the asphalt to illuminate the crossing when pedestrians approach.
