Monor mass brawl: dozens fight with pipes and tools

A violent mass brawl involving dozens of people occurred in Monor on August 24, reportedly stemming from a dispute between two families. The conflict escalated when members of one group, armed with tools such as iron pipes, poles, and shovels, attacked the male members of another family at a residential property. The violence spilled out into the street.

Two men sustained injuries, one of them serious, and were transported to the hospital. Police have since identified and questioned several suspects. The Monor District Prosecutor's Office has requested the detention of two men on charges of group rioting committed with weapons. The suspects have denied the allegations, with some claiming they were acting in self-defense.
