Brașov police issue fines during Oktoberfest inspections

Police in Brașov conducted inspections during the Oktoberfest Brașov 2026 event to prevent tax evasion and maintain public order. Authorities checked over 40 economic operators, resulting in total sanctions amounting to 47,000 lei.

Specifically, 10 contraventional sanctions totaling 35,000 lei were issued for fiscal irregularities. Additionally, 22 sanctions worth approximately 12,000 lei were applied for traffic violations in the area surrounding the event. As complementary measures, police seized three driver's licenses and two vehicle registration certificates.
