Brașov prepares for Christmas Market and local dining discounts

Brașov is preparing for its annual Christmas Market, which is scheduled to officially open on November 30 in Council Square. An early preview will be available from November 27 to 29. The market will feature over 50 vendor locations across three zones, with a focus on local artisans and producers; more than 70% of the stalls are reserved for craftsmen and producers from the Brașov municipality and county.

In a separate local initiative, the Brașov Publicans' Guild has launched the ‘Brașov Wednesday’ campaign. Running from October 7 until December 16, over 25 partner restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and chocolate shops will offer a 15% discount on food and beverages every Wednesday. The initiative aims to encourage local residents to visit the historic city center and reward their loyalty, mitigating the impact of heavy tourist crowds on the local community.
