Bra’s Festival promotes Piedmontese gastronomy in Ticino

The Bra’s Festival, a national celebration of sausage, cheese, bread, and rice from Bra, held an introductory event in Melide, Switzerland, to foster culinary and tourism ties between Piedmont and the Italian-speaking Swiss canton of Ticino.

Hosted at the Swiss Diamond Boutique Hotel La Romantica, the meeting brought together chefs, producers, media, and tourism operators. The initiative, promoted by David Camponovo and CD Media, aims to use Piedmontese gastronomic excellence to create shared promotional paths between the two regions.

The festival, which saw over 80,000 attendees in 2024, is scheduled to take place in Bra from September 17 to 20, 2026. The event seeks to establish itself as a premier representative of Italian gastronomy through masterclasses, tastings, and cultural encounters.
