Brasil Game Show 2026 highlights independent game developers

The Brasil Game Show 2026 featured a dedicated area for independent studios at the Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, showcasing several notable titles.

Among the highlighted games is Superkid X1, a 3D cartoon-style arcade soccer game inspired by Brazilian culture, featuring characters with unique attributes and special abilities. Another standout is Always With You: Meow & Mystery, a puzzle-adventure game involving a protagonist and three cats, slated for a 2026 release. The horror title Fire and Ashes, which utilizes microphone input as a gameplay mechanic, is scheduled for PC release on October 14.

Pixell Games also drew significant attention with Arcane Ryft, a title that blends turn-based RPG, roguelike, and monster-collection elements. The game features pixel art graphics and a party-based combat system where players must manage limited skill slots. The studio hosted a demo competition at the event to engage attendees.
