BrasilAgro sells Bahia farmland for R$ 96.4 million

BrasilAgro has announced the sale of 1,752.66 useful hectares of the Fazenda Rio do Meio, located in Correntina, Bahia, for R$ 96.4 million. The transaction price is set at 425 bags of soybeans per useful hectare.

The company expects to recognize a pre-tax gain of R$ 51.5 million in the first quarter of the 2026/27 period. This sale is part of a broader strategy to capitalize on the appreciation of developed lands. The transaction value represents approximately 2.9 times the book value of the area.

In addition to the sale, BrasilAgro has entered into a lease agreement for another 383.44 useful hectares of the same farm. This lease agreement runs until June 2030 and includes an option for the lessee to purchase the area by March 2028 at the same rate of 425 bags of soybeans per useful hectare.
