Brasiléia and UNITEPC sign cooperation agreement

The municipality of Brasiléia has signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Agreement with the Universidade Técnica Privada Cosmos (UNITEPC), a higher education institution based in Cobija, Bolivia. The partnership aims to strengthen collaborative efforts in health, education, professional training, research, and community well-being.

UNITEPC, which has operated for 33 years, currently serves approximately 1,200 undergraduate students, about 95% of whom are Brazilian, particularly in the field of medicine. This high concentration of Brazilian students highlights the institution's role in educational integration between Cobija and the neighboring Brazilian border municipalities.

The agreement facilitates joint research, educational programs, technical and scientific assistance, and academic activities. It also provides students with opportunities for internships and participation in health-related programs and academic cooperation initiatives.
