Brasília crowds gather early for September 7th parade

Crowds gathered early in Brasília's Esplanada dos Ministérios to witness the September 7th Independence Day parade. Spectators, including tourists and local residents, arrived in the early morning hours to secure viewing spots.

Among the attendees was Maria de Fátima Barbosa, a 71-year-old retiree who traveled over 15 hours from Tocantinópolis, Tocantins, to attend the event. Families from the outskirts of the capital, such as residents of Sobradinho 2, also arrived early to participate in the celebrations. The crowd included former military personnel, families of parade participants, and individuals expressing patriotic sentiment through traditional attire and flags.
