Brasília hosts musical concerts and cultural tributes

Brasília is hosting several musical events in September, featuring both charitable performances and tributes to Brazilian musical masters.

On September 10, the Instituto Reciclando Sons will celebrate its 25th anniversary with the concert ‘Compasso da Mudança – Cultura Brasileira em Formação e Ação’ at the Casa Thomas Jefferson auditorium. The performance includes an orchestra, choir, and band playing Brazilian classics such as ‘Asa Branca’ and ‘Anunciação,’ alongside works by Michael Jackson. Admission is a donation of one pair of sneakers to support the institute's students in Cidade Estrutural.

Additionally, the Complexo Cultural do Choro is holding a series of events from September 9 to 12. The program includes a tribute to Jacob do Bandolim featuring Armandinho and the Regional Choro Livre at the Clube do Choro de Brasília. The festivities also include ‘Choro no Parque’ at Parque da Cidade and a traditional ‘Feijoada com Samba’ on September 12.
