Brasília Symphony Orchestra presents Polish classical music concert
The Brasília Symphony Orchestra is presenting a Polish classical music concert as part of its ‘Concerto das Nações’ cycle at the Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro. The performance features works by Polish composers Lutoslawski and Karlowicz, led by artistic director Claudio Cohen in collaboration with prestigious Polish conductor Pawel Przytocki.
The concert series aims to foster cultural exchange through partnerships with diplomatic representations, with plans to host between ten and fifteen concerts. This follows recent themed performances focusing on Swiss and Ecuadorian music.
The Teatro Nacional Claudio Santoro recently reopened its Martins Pena hall in April 2025 after being closed for 11 years due to structural and safety issues. Organizers report high public interest and diverse attendance since the venue's reopening.
