Brastemp and LG launch new smart home appliances
Major appliance manufacturers are introducing new smart technologies designed to optimize household chores and resource management.
Brastemp has launched the BLF45 11-service dishwasher, which features B=Smart intelligent sensors. These sensors automatically detect soil levels to select the most efficient wash cycle, potentially reducing washing time by 21 minutes compared to conventional cycles. The unit can accommodate up to 129 pieces and includes a sanitization function that uses temperatures of up to 70 degrees Celsius to eliminate 99.999% of bacteria. The model is designed to save up to 94 liters of water per cycle.
LG has introduced a new version of its WashTower, a vertical solution that combines a washing machine and a dryer into a single compact unit. Unlike traditional combo machines, the WashTower utilizes two independent compartments, allowing users to wash and dry separate loads simultaneously. The system incorporates AI Wash 2.0 and AI Dry technologies to adjust cycles based on fabric type, weight, and soil levels. Users can manage the device via a 6.8-inch touchscreen or through the LG ThinQ mobile application.
