BRAT releases music video for Spit On His Grave
The New Orleans-based metal quartet BRAT has released a music video for their single ‘Spit On His Grave’. Directed by Jeff Van Gerwen, the video accompanies a track from the band’s second album, Manslayer, which was released on September 25 via Prosthetic Records.
The song features a blend of grindcore, death metal, and hardcore. Vocalist Liz Selfish noted that the track is a live favorite and that the band intended for the video to be both campy and high-energy. The lyrics, written by Selfish, explore themes of female vengeance and empowerment, drawing inspiration from country music narratives.
BRAT is scheduled to perform a series of headlining dates in the United Kingdom starting October 28. Following the UK run, the band will join Napalm Death, Master, and Goatburner for a European tour spanning from November 6 to December 6, with stops in Germany, Finland, the Baltic states, and several other European countries.
