Bratislava cafe faces scrutiny over public funding contract

A controversy has emerged regarding the financing of a new cafe, Lime Studio, located in the Central shopping mall in Bratislava. The establishment, which aims to host cultural events, music, and coworking activities, is facing scrutiny over the use of public funds.

Discrepancies have been identified in the contract published in the Central Register of Contracts. While an expert commission reportedly recommended against supporting the project, the FPU Council reversed this decision. Furthermore, the official contract contains statements claiming the expert commission recommended support, which contradicts the reported findings of the evaluation process.
