Bratislava entrepreneur launches premium Dog Spa salon

Karolína Volkov is expanding her business portfolio in Bratislava by launching Dog Spa, a premium pet grooming salon. Following the closure of her previous venture, DNA Bistro, Volkov is applying lessons learned regarding the distinction between a good idea and a viable business model.

Located in the Vydrica district, the new salon focuses on an exclusive, low-volume, high-price model. The service aims to provide a calm environment with individual attention from groomers, contrasting with larger, high-traffic salons. Volkov also intends to develop proprietary products for retail and online sales, while exploring a franchise model for DNA Beauty.
