Slovak hockey team schedule announced for 2027 World Championship

The Slovak national ice hockey team has received its schedule for the 2027 IIHF World Championship, which will be hosted in Germany. Due to Germany exercising its hosting rights, the Slovak team will compete in the B-group in Düsseldorf rather than the A-group.

Slovakia's tournament begins on Saturday, May 15, with a match against Denmark. This will be followed by a game against Kazakhstan on May 16. The group stage continues with matches against Hungary on May 18, Canada on May 20, the USA on May 22, and the Czech Republic on May 24. The group stage concludes on May 25 against Norway.

The tournament is set to feature the German national team in the A-group, alongside Finland, Switzerland, Sweden, Latvia, Austria, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
