Bratislava police charge two men after assault with medieval mace

Two men, aged 26 and 34, have been charged following a violent incident in the Podunajské Biskupice district of Bratislava. The confrontation occurred on the night of August 30 at a parking lot near a primary school on Podzáhradná Street.

According to the Bratislava Regional Police, the suspects approached two individuals and issued death threats. One suspect used a medieval-style combat mace—consisting of a wooden handle, chain, and spiked metal ball—to strike a victim on the head, causing a superficial injury that required medical attention. The victim attempted to flee but was pursued by the second suspect, who continued to issue death threats.

Police officers located the suspects on Vetvárska Street. During the arrest, authorities seized the medieval mace and a short expansion firearm with ammunition. Both men were taken into custody for further investigation.
