Bratislava to host inaugural Slovak Darts Open 2026

The inaugural Slovak Darts Open, the ninth event of the 2026 PDC European Tour, will be held in Bratislava from 19 to 21 June. Forty‑eight darts players will compete for a total prize fund of £230,000, with the champion receiving £35,000.

Top‑seeded Dutch players Michael van Gerwen and Gian van Veen lead the field, while several high‑profile stars such as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Josh Rock will miss the tournament. Poland’s Krzysztof Ratajski is the sole Polish representative. The prize money counts toward the PDC Order of Merit, the ProTour Order of Merit and, most importantly, the European Tour Order of Merit, which influences qualification for the European Championship.

Organisers note strong local interest in darts and expect fans from nearby Austria to travel to the venue, underscoring Bratislava’s strategic location for the sport’s growth in Central Europe.
