Bratislava tram extension links Dúbravka and Bory districts
A 1.7‑km tram line is planned to connect the Dúbravka and Bory districts of Bratislava, Slovakia. The project, which entered the environmental impact assessment process in January, proposes a new underground crossing of the existing railway and a surface route along Saratovská Street, including level crossings at Agátová Street and the II/505 road. It includes a combined Dúbravčice stop, a Bory tram station, a hospital stop, and a Bory turning loop with access and exit ramps. Construction will require temporary lane reductions, partial road closures and adjustments to nearby intersections and a police station parking area. The municipality expects the extension to improve public transport service, increase attractiveness of mass transit and better connect the expanding Bory area with the existing network.
