Bratislava transport services face schedule changes and rail disruptions

Public transport in Bratislava will undergo several adjustments due to school holidays and infrastructure maintenance. Integrated Bratislava Transport (BID) has announced that city bus lines will operate on holiday schedules on October 29 and 30, with specific exceptions for lines 31, 39, 87, and 184. During the weekend of October 31 and November 1, service will follow a non-working day schedule, though lines 39 and 80 will provide increased frequency to various cemeteries.

Simultaneously, rail services in the Bratislava hub are facing disruptions due to reconstruction of railway infrastructure and switches. From October 27 to November 9, certain S70 and R70 train connections from southern regions, including Dunajská Streda and Kvetoslavovo, will terminate at Bratislava-Nové Mesto instead of continuing to the main station. Passengers are advised to use tram line 4 or bus lines 61 and 71 to complete their journeys to the main station.
