Fulton County residents charged in fentanyl-laced pill distribution
Three Fulton County residents have been charged by federal prosecutors for the distribution of counterfeit pills containing fentanyl and heroin. The arrests took place in Gloversville on September 2.
The individuals identified are John Vincent Dimick Jr., Quadir Jameek Powerful Supreme Johnson, and Darena Ann Rutauskas, all aged 21. According to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office, investigators allege that Johnson sold over 200 fake Percocet pills containing heroin and fentanyl to Dimick, who then sold them to a confidential source.
Law enforcement intercepted the three individuals while they were allegedly en route to another sale. The controlled substances were found in Rutauskas’ possession. Following their initial appearances, Dimick agreed to remain in custody pending trial, while Johnson and Rutauskas were released to pretrial supervision under specific conditions.
